When Samual Armas was only 21 weeks old in his mother's womb, he required utero surgery to repair a spina bifida condition.In the picture to the right, he is reaching out for the surgeon in the now famous photograph.
Here is Samuel at almost 4 years of age with his mother, Julie Armas.Although he requires leg braces, Samuel enjoys life like most little boys. He likes to play outside and especially likes looking for bugs.
